# 12. Tokenomics

The ARVO token has a fixed maximum supply of:

**1,000,000,000 ARVO**

No additional tokens may be issued unless approved through governance and permitted under the protocol's legal and technical framework.

#### Treasury & Strategic Capital

Supports business acquisitions, strategic investments and other initiatives approved through the governance framework.

#### Protocol Reserve

Provides capital for future operational requirements, strategic opportunities and other governance-approved purposes.

#### Staking Rewards

Supports staking during the early stages of the protocol. As Treasury contributions increase, a greater proportion of rewards may be funded through Treasury allocations rather than token emissions.

#### **Liquidity & Market Operations**

Supports initial liquidity, exchange listings, market making and ongoing liquidity management. Not all liquidity tokens enter circulation at launch.

#### Ecosystem Growth

Supports strategic partnerships, business development, protocol integrations, marketing and community initiatives.

#### Team & Founders

Subject to a 24-month linear vesting schedule from the token launch date.

#### Strategic Partners & Advisors

Allocated to individuals and organisations providing legal, technical, commercial or strategic support. Vesting arrangements may apply where appropriate.

#### Token Emissions

The maximum token supply remains fixed. Token emissions are expected to reduce in significance over time as Treasury-funded rewards become an increasingly important component of the staking programme.&#x20;

Subject to Treasury performance, capital requirements and the long-term objectives of the protocol, Arvo may implement token buyback programmes as part of its capital allocation strategy. The timing, scale and implementation of any buyback programme will be determined by the Board and management team in accordance with the protocol's investment framework and Treasury policy.
